It's been a long hiatus over the summer and I completely forgot that the Season Finale to last season ended on the Warehouse literally being blown up. All gone. As soon as I remembered, I knew that their would be some kind of "rewind" device that would pretty much erase the Finale and all would be right again. The interesting bent on the aftermath of the destruction is that the entire world falls into a tailspin, leading to financial collapse, riots and looting as humanity loses all hope. So, it was just a question of finding the piece(s) that would rewind time.

But with anything that can do good, it's also bound to have some sinister attached to it. The consequences of using the device is that Artie will unleash an "evil" that will live with him for the rest of his days. It's implied at the end that the "evil" is Claudia and we apparently see his death by her hands as she stabs him. Very predictable, but still fun.

So Claudia was able to bring Agent Jinks back to life with the use of the Metronome. That's implied at the end that him being alive again, that the effects of the Metronome and all that he has touched over the course of his lifetime could be in trouble. Very interesting. What I see is that by the end of this Season, it will be Claudia that will have to put him down once and for all. This arc is by far the most interesting here. I really didn't think the H.P. Lovecraft story was all that great, but everything else was.

Played stictly for laughs as 3 teams set out to find the stolen artifacts currently out and about. Although slightly amusing in a couple of spots, overall it was a average episode. It doesn't get interesting till the end when Agent Jink figures out that he and Claudia have a psychic connection since being brought back from the other side. Too bad Dee Wallace is wasted in a thankless role. At least give him a character that has the potential to be a recurring character.

The only 'retrieving the marbles' story-line really wasn't all that compelling. However, I did like the story involving Myka and Jinks and the musician that was using an artifact to absorb other peoples pain so that he could use it to become a Jazz legend. It was hear that the musician try to absorb Jinks' pain and he lets it slip to Myka that if anything happens to him, the same will befall Claudia.

An good episode that revolves around magic dog tags from the war, which are used to make a Hockey player invincible to pain. I thought the sight gag of Myka being pregnant was very funny. I also liked that Mrs. Frederic has taken Claudia under her wing to train her as her eventual replacement for Warehouse 13. We also get to see how an artifact is 'born'. The ending was really cool when Claudia realizes that whoever takes over becomes ageless. That's what I took away from the scene with Mrs. F and her Grandson who is clearly older than her.

Alice (In Wonderland) is a homicidal maniac, hell-bent on killing Artie, with the ability to body swap with anyone at will, as long as she has a shard of the mirror from winch she came from. The scene at the end was pretty interesting when it's revealed who is sending out artifacts into the world from the warehouse. You will just have to watch it to find out who it is.

Kind of a weak episode, especially the "FX" of the people "growing" and stretching. It just looked incredibly cheap. Looks like they are adding a new character to join the ranks of the Regents, which is somewhat refreshing. But the thing that saves this episode comes at the end with the return of H.G. Wells.

I wasn't particularly happy with the Boxing story and the fighter that had the punch of 'steel' that causes people to "Rust from the inside out". I just thought that the gag was just way too hokey and the actors playing the roles in the Steel Mill were really bad. The other half of the episode dealt mainly with Agent Jinks letting go of his anger toward his Sister's killer and finally being able to separate himself and Claudia from the infernal Metronome.

I've said this before and I'll say it again. The "Special FX" on this show are HORRIBLE! I like the show and the characters and most of the stories. But the FX just make the show come off so cheap looking. It's really embarrassing that they undermine the series like this using FX that a 5 year old with a computer and come up with.

With that out of the way, I did like this episode (in spite of said FX's). Always great to see Amy Acker and Jeri Ryan, even if their characters were greatly underused here. As for the rest of the episode, the reveal is that Brother Adrian (Brent Spiner) was just a figment of Artie's imagination. On top of that, Artie is now "Evil" and has just killed Leena (Genelle Williams). Yikes. Even though this show is built to basically bring back anyone from the dead, I think this one is definitely permanent.

We All Fall Down is all about the final 2 minutes of the episode. Claudia stabs Artie in the heart, just like his 'nightmare' told him she would. But the addition of the Orchid, the plague it carries when unleashed onto the world is the new wrinkle in the story. I kinda thought that all would be saved by the end. Not the case here as the Orchid was in fact set free upon the world and that's the cliffhanger we are left with.

To be continued........

I've heard a lot of people complaining about how Syfy is airing their episodes too far apart. This is a BIG issue I have with the show, well, with those running the Network and handling the show that is. Too many people assume that Warehouse 13 is cancelled because it's never on and when that happens, people move on and will not come back regardless if new episodes eventually air. This will of course cause the domino effect and guess what, the show will indeed get cancelled if things in marketing the show don't change.

Anyway, as far as this episode is concerned, it could and should have been much better given the nature of what was at stake here. It's just a very average episode that never really got where it needed to be to become Epic. I did like the small cameos in Artie's mind. Lindsay Wagner for the win! I liked James Marsters too. It looks like he will have a recurring role and a villain down the road. Great inside joke that I was actually expecting. Having Pete ask him if he was a Vampire to explain how he looked so young for being over 500 years old was definitely good for a laugh as well as fan service. For those that don't know what I'm talking about, his biggest claim to fame was playing Spike in both Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Angel.

Meh. Not much exciting happened here. Artie is still trying to get over killing Leena. At least they gave her one last scene to close out the episode.

I love the Film Noir genre. But I'm referring to those legit films from years past, not one's that have Sci-Fi making their way into the world as seen in The Big Snag. It doesn't help that only half the episode is black and white, while the other half takes place back in the 'real world'. It's too jarring going from one world to the next that I couldn't fully surrender to the premise of being "sucked into a crime novel". And why is it necessary for any show or movie doing their version of Film Noir to ramp up the 'speak-easy' dialect to the point of absurdity? Anyway, this one was petty average as a whole. Not that he was bad, he wasn't, but even Enrico Colantoni couldn't save this. About the only good thing was the 'new' Title Card for the show, which drew from Film Noir. Very cool looking. The other cool thing was having Missi Pyle in the episode. This was sort of a mini-reunion of Galaxy Quest (http://pennycan.createaforum.com/dvd's-blu-rays/galazy-quest-(1999)/msg5823/#msg5823) alums.

Pretty entertaining episode that saw 3 guest stars, two of which may be recurring. Joel Grey guest-stars as an Aging Magician looking for one last great trick to seal his legacy. Kelly Hu guest-stars as a Regent Shrink sent in to monitor Artie. And Polly Walker is a mysterious women who has a target, that turns out to be Claudia, but for what purpose is anybody's guess.

Ugh. So the Warehouse is rebelling against its masters and attacking them? Um, how is this different from any of the other episodes. I'm at the end of my rope with this series. Not sure how much longer I'm gonna stay with the show. Even Jaime Murray couldn't save this one.

Another lackluster episode and I didn't get the meaning of the episode title. Sure, there was a prison break, but it still didn't make much sense. It wasn't till the final scene did it finally come together when Cherie Currie pops up in a cameo at Claudia's birthday bash to sing a duet with her on stage. Ch-ch-ch-ch Cherry Bomb! This is the only reason why the episode gets 3 stars.

Lady Deathstrike and Iceman should have killed each other in this episode. It would have made sitting through this episode somewhat bearable. <---- Inside X-Men Joke.  ;D

Ugh. Why am I still watching this series? It's getting harder and harder to make it through to the end and this one wasn't any easier either. The entire cast for pretty much all of Season 4 has been sleepwalking and they are really playing up the "comedy" of the show and not in a good way. It's always had goofy acting but the last few episodes, including this one has Claudia literally hamming it up in here scenes and it's painful to watch. Pete or more specifically actor Eddie McClintock "emotional breakdown" scene was even more painful to watch. Watching an actor trying to cry to add some depth and weight to a scene is embarrassing, especially when they can't pull off a convincing tear-jerk scene. It looked like his head was going to explode. I just found the episode to be really boring. Even Cynthia Watros couldn't save this and I'm a big fan of hers. The actor playing the homeless kid was HORRIBLE.

It's just sad to see a series that had so much potential and not live up to it going out whimpering. I guess the good news in all of this is that the show will come to end as the Syfy Channel did renew the show for a 5th season with only a 6 episode pick up.

A better offering by WH13. The episode wasn't perfect, but it was better than what we've gotten lately. Very cool to see Anthony Stewart Head, who I haven't seen in anything since Buffy The Vampire Slayer went off the air. Sheesh. How long ago was that? As for the episode, Wouldn't the best course of action have been to start banging on the bell before touching the medallion instead of trying to "time it" as to when the Smoke Monster would attack after the fact? Also, I thought that anyone that touches an artifact without those Purple Gloves was prone to being infected by it, which the Countess clearly was not.

Another average episode. I really feel that this series should have ended after 3 seasons because overall, Season 4 has been a bust and they have been running on fumes this year. Even the reunion between Anthony Stewart Head and James Masters really didn't do anything to live up to their Buffy Legacy. I'm struggling to finish this series and don't know if I have what it takes to the finish line of Warehouse 13.

Who would have thought that they had a good episode left in them, let along a cliffhanger that would make me want to come back and see how it ends? Well, the end it with a showdown between Claudia and Paracelsus as they about to duke it out over control for the Warehouse. I'm just hoping that their fight wrecks havoc and destroys most, if not all of the Warehouse once and for all. Bring it on!
