There's only a handful of artist that I put up there with the greatest of all time. Adam Hughes is one of them. I picked up his instructional DVD at the San Diego Comic Con this past Saturday at his booth. I had been waiting patiently for this to hit the street and was pleasantly surprised to see a stack of his DVD's on display for sale. So, I did what any fan of his would do: I bought it...sight unseen.

So, I just got finished watching it now. Did Adam Hughes: Drawing Good Girls live up to my expectations? Hell yeah it did. You get to see Adam start from a blank page all the way to a fully realized finish piece and it's just amazing to see him at work.  You really don't even have to be a fan of his art to really enjoy and draw inspiration to work on your own craft from watching this DVD. And trust me, you will come away inspired to pick up a pencil and start drawing. And that's what all instructional DVD's should do. But how many times have you picked up a DVD only to be disappointed? It happens more often than not. It doesn't happen here though. This is one that I will come back to time and time again to get inspired.

I know you ordered your copy a few weeks back. What did you think of it?
