This kind of like Gordon Ramsey's other reality show Kitchen Nightmares. But in this one he goes to Inn's and tries to revive the entire business. In this one I was absolutely stunned at the idiocy of the two owners "running" this particular Inn. There is no way I would ever stay there and no way in  f u c k i n g   Hotel Hell I would ever work for someone that is cheap and makes people wait 5 weeks to get a paycheck of 45 bucks. Seriously, who the  f u c k  puts up with that sort of garbage. He is running a slave shop and then when employees complain about not getting paid, his answer is "you don't have to work here". Are you  f u c k i n g  kidding me?! Very entertaining episode, but extremely disturbing.

Sorry Mac, just because 'Hell' is in the title, doesn't make it horror-related. (http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i266/Chiprocks1/Smilies/0%20All%20Smilies/HTL_wink.gif) Although this was pretty horrific.

I did watch this particular episode. I planned to watch the 2nd half, but for the love of Gawd... seriously.

Getting wrapped in these kinds of series would really just waste a lot of my time. I'll admit... it's got it's addictive qualities.

I just wish they would forgo the bleeping of the language. Lay it out.

I agree that the bleeping does get annoying. It's not they are fooling anyone and everybody already knows what they are saying.

I wonder if all the episodes will be two-parters. It looks like Part 1 will be the "show me how  f u c k e d  up things are" episode and Part 2 will be the remodeling episode, which is kind of like Home Improvement where they redo everything up to standards. I liked the episode, it was entertaining for sure. But I wonder just how long the new changes will stay in effect before they revert back to their old ways. It's easy to "turn over a new leaf" when you have Cameras and Gordon Ramsey in your face. But as soon as they leave, their old ways are sure to come back

Juniper Hill Inn (TripAdvisor) (http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g57474-d82752-Reviews-Juniper_Hill_Inn-Windsor_Vermont.html)

My curiosity of what the Inn is doing now prompted me to see what TripAdvisor has to say. Some of the reviews confirm what I brought up in my last post. Once a dick....always a dick.

Good episode, but not sure if I'm going to stick with this on a regular basis in large part because it's tiresome listening to the Hotel Owners just agreeing with Gordon about the changes that need to be made in order to succeed. Hearing them go "yeah, yeah, uh, huh, yeah, right, right, yeah, uh huh....." annoys the hell out of me. All lip service on their part. I just don't know if I wanna sit through that week in and week out.

Originally, my intent was to phase this show out starting with last weeks. But I had to make an exception for this week because the Hotel that was being fixed by Gordon is actually in Downtown San Diego in the Gaslamp Quarter, which is basically right across the street from the San Diego Convention Center, home of Comic Con (http://pennycan.createaforum.com/comic-books-and-art/comic-con-2012-(july-12-15)/msg10462/#msg10462). I actually know where the Keating Hotel is, even though I've never stayed in it or eaten at their Restaurant. Even after the upgrade the Hotel got, courtesy of Gordon, I for sure will never stay there. I would never reward anyone that I think is a douche with my hard earned money. The "Owner" of the Hotel strikes me as someone that was born with a Ferrari up his ass and has no problems telling people so.

As for sticking with the show from here on out, probably not. If I do ever have this on, it will be more for background noise as I work.

Meh. I still wouldn't stay at this Inn in spite of its "upgrades".

Roosevelt Hotel

The Owner of Roosevelt Hotel is a complete dick and douche. He buys the hotel for 700K and is over a million dollars in debt and is laughing about it in front of his wife, who didn't ask for any of this. **** this guy. I hope she leaves him and it has to take on the burden and fails. I don't get why he thinks all of this is a big joke and her pain even more so. I loved that Gordon was constantly calling him on his  s h i t.  But like the baby the Owner is, he just runs off rather than deal with the problems at hand. Talk about burying one's head in the sand. Who the f*ck lets dogs roam around a Hotel and **** wherever they want? Seriously, this guy is insane!!

Having just found out that this Season is all of 6 episodes, I went ahead and knocked this episode out. Not sure if I will be returning for Season 2, even though it has been renewed already.
