George Lucas in Love wraps up my Star Wars marathon as I was saving the best for last when it came to parodies. This is the antithesis of Hardware Wars (http://pennycan.createaforum.com/dvd's-blu-rays/hardware-wars-(1978)/msg13753/#msg13753), which had zero production value. George Lucas in Love on the other hand looks just as good as anything produced by a Hollywood Studio. What this film has going for it that most films from Tinseltown don't have is humor and great acting by the actors involved. The movie is basically a send up of Star Wars mythology mashed with Shakespeare In Love. There are so many inside jokes that it's actually fun to see if you can pick up on them before they are revealed to the viewer. I highly recommend this as a Buy as it comes with a very cool 'Behind the Scene's' making of doc that tracks the production and how Steven Spielberg and George Lucas discovered the movie for themselves. Very entertaining. The DVD also comes with 3 other short films: Evil Hill, Film Club and Swing Blade.
