This is a no brainer. I'm definitely seeing this when it hits the Theater. (http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i266/Chiprocks1/Smilies/0%20All%20Smilies/GleeClappingHands.gif)

Yippie!!! (http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i266/Chiprocks1/Smilies/0%20All%20Smilies/GleeClappingHands.gif)

They couldn't have picked a better song than NIN with We're In This Together. I can't wait for this movie to hit.

I’m confused (Also admittedly not a fan of super hero tales). So maybe someone can explain my disconnect I see or lack of understanding in the various time period and relationships between the super heroes.

I get, I think, Ironman. Of all of the super heroes, he makes the most logical sense on the how and why he came to be.

Thor seems mythological and I can’t imagine Tony Stark to even begin to buy into it or even relate to it. Same with the Hulk. Which sounds like a bad experiment from a mad scientist. Again, I would think Stark having a tough time coming to terms with that.

Captain America is a World War II veteran, but somehow exists in today’s world? Time travel? How does Stark or even Thor or the others work with that?

I know I’m biased… against, but want to understand. I’m thinking this will be my least anticipated. I don’t know the stories and it just seems like a WWF thing for a money grab.

The Avengers centers around S.H.E.I.L.D, which is a secret military law-enforcement agency and is run by Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) to fight those un-winnable fights as a group, rather than go it alone. Captain America is in fact from WWII. But he is frozen and then ultimately revived in present day, joining the team as one of its members. All the members envision themself as the leader of this group, which creates the tension. They of course never see eye to eye and don't play well with each other. It's only when it comes to crunch time that they put their petty little squabbles behind them and work together as a team.

I'm excited for this to hit the silver screen.

Well, it's hitting all target demographics and it's being called the greatest Superhero Movie of All Time. High praise. Joss Whedon for the win. I'm going to wait till the herd thins out before seeing it. I hate sitting near strangers in general, especially when it's packed and I have to share my arm rest. HATE IT!! Not to mention the Tweeters that get on my nerves.

Couple of weeks and I should be good to go.

This is a movie that has to be seen BIG in my opinion. Unless you have a monster TV and Home Theater setup. Even still.......... Besides, I love the thrill of sneaking in my own food. I'm talking 5 course meals!! Suck it overpriced movie chain!
