A show like House of Lies is always going to end with sh*t blowing up in the finale episode and I'm not talking about buildings or cars. It's all about closing the deal and the entire season is about setting up the deal and hopefully closing it by the end. When it comes to sh*t hitting the fan, I didn't think anything could top what happened at the end of Season 1. But Season 2 definitely takes the cake (pun intended). The final episode was fantastic. I loved that it was the same story, but told from 4 different perspectives of Marty, Jeannie, Doug and Clyde. If you haven't been watching House of Lies, I think it's high time you start. Besides the huge blow up at the end, there are other things to like about Season 2.
I thought that Matt Damon episode was f*cking hilarious. especially with all the inside jokes and jabs at George Clooney. If you have been living under a rock, the 3 of them are very close and of course have done plenty of movies together (Ocean's Eleven (http://pennycan.createaforum.com/dvd's-blu-rays/ocean's-eleven/msg5663/#msg5663) series). This episode will definitely have you howling with laughter. Jeannie's sex tape was also funny too. One of the biggest head trips involved seeing Jenny Slate joining the cast in a recurring role as Doug's girlfriend. Why is this a big deal to me? Well, she also has a recurring role on Parks and Recreation (http://pennycan.createaforum.com/tv/parks-and-recreation-(season-6-2013)/msg27860/#msg27860) playing the sister of Ben Schwartz. So it was just odd to see Clyde hitting on her in House of Lies. I never knew they were on two shows together. Anyway, this is definitely worth a Rent. Nia Long, Bess Armstrong and Larenz Tate join Season 2.
