Before I jump into my review of Focus, I gotta mention that I had an epiphany just prior to pushing play. I've known about the movie since it first came out, but it was in that split second did I realize that this is "Suicide Squad" in the pairing of Will Smith and Margot Robbie. I don't know how I miss that connection since I was all over the Suicide Squad Trailer (http://pennycan.createaforum.com/movies/suicide-squad-(2016)/msg34975/#msg34975) a few months ago. Anyway, as far as Focus goes, this is a solid flick about two Con Men (er....and Con Woman) that fall for each other. Or do they? There are so many plays being made between the two, you can never quite tell if they are playing each other as a mark or not. The movie does have an Ocean's 11 vibe going for it at times with regards to their cons, which is a good thing. When you watch a movie like this, you know and expect a twist to come at the end. But there is a a lot going on throughout the flick to constantly keep you on your toes that you never focus on the impending twist (see what I did there?  ;D ). Definitely worth a Rent. I enjoyed it, which I wasn't expecting.

I remember now you liking this genre of film.

I do remember most of it. Didn't quite buy into the chemistry of the two.

But I do remember the football betting scene doing an 'Oh Dayum'. Fun flick.

That was easily the best scene of the entire movie. BD Wong CRUSHED it!
