That sucks.  How fond are you of the performers and their work usually?

Well, you know I'm a huge fan of Amy because of P&R and Tina is another fave. They have amazing chemistry when they are doing skits on SNL, On-Camera interviews or hosting the Golden Globes. But when it comes to doing feature films, they suck because the writing has always been awful. Case in point (http://pennycan.createaforum.com/dvd's-blu-rays/baby-mama-(2008)/msg18127/#msg18127). I know they are BFF's and probably enjoy working together no matter what the circumstances are, but they really need to stop trying to make it happen together in movies because they clearly aren't reading the scripts beforehand and if they continue down this road, they can and will do serious harm to their careers.

We saw this was awful from very early on. Quite surprised at how bad it is. We turned it off after 15 minutes. It was that bad.

I'm wondering if name recognition is out the window. Meaning  celebrities name is no longer the draw. Just the brand or franchise.

For instance heard Money Monster is a colossal bore. No Jodie Foster, George Clooney or Julia Roberts name will drive folks to the theater. Hell, what's Robert's done good in recent times?

Oops, sorry to derail.
