Returns October 21, 2011 for it's final season to wrap up all the loose ends. But the order is down to just 13 episodes. After last season, I wasn't really looking forward to seeing Chuck return. Season 4 was just meh. But the cliffhanger at the end has me wanting to see where they go with Morgan Grimes as he now possesses the Intersect in his head. Also, I've been with the series from the very beginning, so even if they didn't have this angle, I would still tune in to see how it  all ends.

Much better premiere than I thought it would be. I was curious as to how they were going to utilize Chuck into mission now that Morgan has the Intersect. I think the formula for this season, or for as long as Morgan has the Intersect will be Morgan kicks ass (albeit comical) from the start of the episode up to the final misson, drop the ball, get captured and leave it up to Chuck to get creative in rescuing the team without the aid of the Intersect. Works for me.

So, the theme for the season is that Decker and the C.I.A. are looking to tear down Chuck and Carmichael Industries, by crippling them financially by freezing their accounts. But what the endgame or motive is I have no idea. Something tells me it's not what we think it is. Not the obvious motive, but something else all together.
Craig Kilborn is looking old these days. Mark Hamil looks like he ate a Jawa or two.

Hulu and NBC pulled the discontinued the agreement to allow for the episodes to be hosted online. So, I never even got to watch the final season other than the first episode. Grrrr. If and when they decide to rerun all of Season 5 online, I will post the links, but I highly doubt they will since it would cut into DVD sales.

Since this brings to a close the Chuck series, it's run is now complete, which means this thread is now moving to TV Greatest Hits and Misses (http://pennycan.createaforum.com/tv's-greatest-hits-and-misses/)
