Such a shame. He was waaaaaaaaaay too young. Seriously, 53! As for his musical legacy, he left a treasure trove of hit songs after hit songs to revisit. I may have made fun of Wham! a lot when they first broke, but I soon came to respect that GM could really sing. I think for me the one moment that really solidified his naysayers was when he did the Freddie Mercury Tribute concert. It was in the Top 3 moments of the night. Anyway, RIP.
