I'm definitely in the minority, but I wasn't all that impressed with Doctor Strange. Sure, visually, it looks impressive, but the movie felt very "old" in the sense that we already got this before in the form of Inception (http://pennycan.createaforum.com/dvd's-blu-rays/inception-(2010)/msg1397/#msg1397)....7 years earlier. My biggest peeve with Doctor Strange is the fact that the main character is an unabashed prick of epic proportions. Because I disliked the character so much, I never once "rooted" for him to succeed. Certainly did not think he was worthy of the power that would be bestowed upon him. Very whiny and irritating from start to finish. With that said, some really cool set pieces to wow you. But like I said, it's a been there done that thing with this movie. Worth a Rent and nothing more. I'm sure other people will like this more no doubt...I'm just not really a fan of the Supernatural genre and that may have something to do with not being all rah rah for this movie like most other people are.
