Killing Reagan is a decent flick for what it is. The bulk of the film retraces the steps just prior to the assassination attempt with a good chunk of the movie devoted to THE moment and the subsequent rehab and the chaos that followed. I read maybe a quarter of the book when it first came out. Never finished it. So, watching the movie was my way of finishing it. Just like the book, I didn't learn of anything new in the movie. It really comes down to the performances and Tim Matheson and Cynthia Nixon were both great in capturing the essence of Ronald and Nancy Reagan. It's worth checking out if you're a history buff.
