400 bucks for 256 gigs, that's a bit of a tough pill to swallow, but it's not a bad idea to have an option.  It seems like it's the old iPhone with new software (hence why there's still an audio jack) rather than a new product, but I do like that they're doing this.  It's a great option for parents who don't want their kids to have a phone, since everything else is included.  Apps, games, facetime, not to mention all the movies and music.

Hopefully this will help keep the iPod alive and maybe generate some new demand.

The fact that the Lee cameo comes at that time in the movie... there's something bittersweet about that timing.  Also, it's his second Marvel animated movie cameo, which is kinda cool!  I love seeing his simplified cartoon visage.

I could go on for HOURS about this movie, I loved it so much.  I'm glad I waited until it came out on disc because I knew I would jsut be watching it over and over again ,rewinding stuff and so on.  I can't tell you how many times I rewound the flashbacks or Mulaney's lines.  I also love that Mulaney didn't know he was cast in the movie until he started recording, it was so secret.

The animation is astounding, but the end credit sequence itself is a work of art, holy COW!  Stuff like the sticker animation ,the 3D zoetrope effects, all of that... astounding!  They really embrace the fact that Spider-Man is pop art and make it explode.  And props to the fact  they made the others equally iconic too.  And that song?  Killer.

The post-credits bit, did you notice that was OScar Isaac as M... Interesting Person #1?  Great choice, I so want to see more of him.  And I love his whole set-up.  His holographic assistant whatever, love her too... and i realize that THAT'S what a contemporary version of Max Headroom would be.  So food for thought there.

I got the soundtrack but it was missing a few tracks, including Elliphant's "Till The End" which is the song playing with Gwen's origin story.  So be aware.

It's so crazy to hear everyone rave about this when it's the exact kind of thing that the Special Editions were full of and SW fans b*tch about to no end.

Now to be fair to myself, I was thinking I might take this and edit it into my copy of A New Hope (since I was going to cut out the Jabba bit (and maybe swap out a few more "new" shots for old ones if I can find them), but there are definitely a few too many stylized bits that I would remove from this too, parts of it just ring a bit too untrue, to unreal.  But it's definitely a nice bit of option to have.

So funny story, I get some voiceovers done on Fiverr... not by any musician I saw here, but a few voices I like.  But one recording for Iron Star which had this beautiful voice on it came back oddly distorted, it was doubling up on itself and it was so unusual that I knew I had to use it somehow.  I put a basic backing track on there and it was halfway to becoming a dance track.  I don't know much of anything about making club music and I don't have many samples to choose from, but it's something I'd like to try and finish one of these days.

Been seeing a lot of art on Youtube today.  This one channel is awesome but this video in particular, I'd been wanting to see someone do this for a little while now and the results don't disappoint.

I feel like I'm the only one not freaking out about that stinger.

Different than our usual stuff, my friend Lucie M doing an acoustic cover of a song I've never heard of.  What a voice.

There's a lot more dominos than you think.  There's three different investigations (the "three Cs") of which Mueller is only one.  And the guy is a pro, and operated under a narrow purview of Russian Election Collusion, and the DOJ basically told him that he couldn't indict the President.  No doubt why they never pressed Drumpf for a sit-down interview.

What you really have to look for is the SDNY stuff.  POTUS can't pardon state crimes, and he's no doubt on the hook for something there.  The money laundering, the hush money, etc.  He's in deep with the Russian mob, which is one of the main reasons why this project was so massive and has so many dimensions.

So don't get disappointed in what might feel like an underwhelming result, there's plenty more in the pipe.  Imagine a guy who smokes, eats garbage, does drugs, drives wrecklessly, drinks and drives, etc but seems to be perfectly fine.  Something's gonna get that guy.

Meanwhile, there are plenty of impeachable offenses being racked up.  Right now impeachment might not be possible with enough Repugs in the Drumpf corner, but another election can change that.  That's another thing that has to be done right, the Nixon way.  Right now there's the risk of it being done the Ken Starr way.

A scene from the upcoming Code 8, which has a bit of a "what Robocop could have been" vibe going on.

Aniara -- This looks cool.

The idea of the story, the look of the ship... very curious to see how this one pans out.
