Not sure about that. I read a critics review, trying to be kind, by saying this might play out better when it gets to the the TV. I understand the thought, but don't think about that much anymore.

Keeping Up With Jonses minus zero star

Wow, what crap. This was easy to recognize as complete garbage. I turned it off in less than 15 minutes. Starring Zach Galifianakis, Jon Hamm, Isla Fisher and Gal Gadot. All trying to be funny.

I don't like Zach Galifianakis. I never found him funny and what I've seen, he only plays the one bizarre character from The Hangover.

Cheap Thrills 4 stars

https://youtu.be/cNedTBz-OGQ

I don't know what I was expecting, but it sure wasn't what I watched. Starts off innocent enough and slowly boils to cringe inducing new directions.

13 Sins is a similar concept where each successive challenge is ramped up. Cheap Thrills becomes psychological real quick. What would you do?

Let me just say... I do not understand , now that Trump is president, the folks trying to make Trump fail. If he fails, don't we we Americans fail?

Gawd, I hate this fake news stuff. This stuff is seriously dividing the country by leading folks on different paths.

I spent last weekend with a couple we really like, but took a abnormal amount of time, discussing politics. They decided to talk on about this golden shower scenario. They fully expected this is what will explode and impeach Trump. I got irritated because, not only are you taking my time talking about something that is probably not true, but it's Debbie Downer for a great fun evening.

One week later, not a peep by anybody, because why? Dunno. I can think of lots of reasons. It not true. It's a rumor. No evidence. People continue trying anything to topple Trump.

To what end.

Off-Topic / News Media
« on: January 22, 2017, 07:09:24 am »
I think we are overdue with a thread on News Media. With the latest campaign, the unveiling of Fake News, the The News Corporations clearly becoming biased opinions vs. news reporting.

I've rarely agreed with Sean Hannity, to the point of shunning him completely, but ran across this small discussion/debate on YouTube, and thought there is some interesting perspectives here.

I've been saying lately, the news media is a real problem. Now with fake news, I find it corrosive.

Well that was a whole lot of nothing. This is his future? Not sure working with CNN is going to help him. Though he's probably good for CNN, because Lordy, they need it.

This may be more appropriate in music videos, but I found this very humorous and tongue squarely in cheek.

It's NOT a music video

Note: I don't listen t hip-hop and this, so called song, is the reason why I don't. Complete garbage musically and lyrically.
