Monty Python One Down, Five to go

I caught onto Monty Python a little late when it hit the states years ago. Over time, I grew to understand their unique humor and at times fell in love with much of it.

In 2014, a reunion of the remaining Pythons (minus Graham Chapman) got together to produce an extravagant live stage show of some of their best bits. What struck me is how many musical numbers they did. I guess I never really thought about it, but over the course of their television and movie projects, I guess there was quite a bit of music. None the less, the boys do a great job of doing those skits over again. You know its coming, but you still laugh out loud.

My favorite bit in this live show was the Dead Parrot Skit. Because John Cleese and Michael Palin were struggling to NOT laugh. I already knew all the lines, but it was fun to see these two guys trying to work the skit.
